The schools will work collaboratively with other providers to improve pupil well -being through developing creative approaches to children’s learning with an emphasis on the outdoor environment

Project summary:

To provide disadvantaged learners with the motivation to learn and to provide parents with the resources to engage in their children’s learning.

Resources projected for production:

  • Training and Development of identified staff from each participating school. Each identified staff member will work toward achieving the Level 3 Forest School Practitioners Award which will ensure sustainability and the dissemination throughout Powys and within the consortium

  • Production of a high quality teaching and learning resource that schools and parents could use in the outdoors to facilitate a family learning activity.

  • Case reports including conclusions and recommendations
